What is the passmark for this module?
You need to achieve 50% in each assignment or more, in addition you need 75% attendance (contribution to the clinical scenarios, journal club and the MCQs) in order to pass this module.
Does the MCQs count towards the passmark?
No. The MCQs is considered part of the contribution (attendance). They are purely teaching MSQs.
What will happen if I was busy and did not contribute to the discussion board (scenarios, journal club and MCQs), but passed the assignments
You will be considered failed the module as one of the essential criteriato pass the module is to contribute (attend) to 75% of learning materials.
How I answer the assignments?
Please do not rush, do your readings and most importantly you write it in YOUR OWN WORDS. Copying and pasting is called plagiarsim which will get caught by the system. You could fail the assignment because of this.
What about if I failed the assignments?
You will be allowed one resubmission only. If failed again, you have to retake the module.
What should I do if I could not meet the deadline for assignment submission due to social or health-related issues?
You should write to the programme director well in advance and submit the relevant document (sick note) to allow you an extension.
What happens if I missed the deadline for assignment submission for whatever reasons without informing the programme director?
You will fail the first attempt. You will be allowed for a second attempt (one resubmission for each assignment only)
